First Visit

Your initial appointment at our office is the start of your journey toward a healthier, more beautiful smile. During this visit, Dr. Cranford will conduct a comprehensive examination to assess your orthodontic needs and discuss any concerns you may have.

We will also explain the different treatment options available, including the benefits and durations of each. By the end of your visit, you will have a clear understanding of your orthodontic health and a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals. We look forward to making your first experience with us as informative and comfortable as possible.

Financing and Insurance

We offer various financing options, including in-office no-interest plans with monthly payments, third-party financing, and discounts for upfront payments. We also accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. Insurance coverage for orthodontics typically includes a lifetime maximum benefit paid over the course of treatment.

We strive to help you maximize your benefits, regardless of whether we are listed as an in-network provider. Our team will assist you in determining your coverage and will file insurance claims as a courtesy. Remember, the relationship is between you and our office, not directly with your insurance company. Always notify us of any changes to your insurance to avoid confusion and ensure smooth processing.

Appointment Policy

Orthodontic treatment requires regular visits to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments. These appointments help us guide your teeth into their intended positions using the latest techniques, reducing the overall number of visits needed.

We understand our patients have busy schedules with work or school. Appointments are typically every 4-8 weeks. It's essential to arrive on time to respect everyone's time. Late arrivals may result in rescheduling or a reduced scope of work to stay fair to all patients.

For emergencies and longer procedures, like placing or removing braces, appointments are scheduled in the morning or early afternoon to keep after-school slots available. If you need to reschedule or have a broken appliance, please inform us at least 24 hours before. This helps us keep your treatment on track and accommodate other patients.
